Hello Harish,

Ensure SAP Note 1024932 has been implemented.

Would you please double check the note:

990534 Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer: BC Set

especially the following part:

"

To do this, implement the correction instructions of this note

into your system. These correction instructions create report

SM_PREP_MAINTENANCE_OPTIMIZER in your system. Use transaction

SE38 to execute this program in your Solution Manager client.

After you successfully execute this program, the Maintenance

Optimizer is configured.

"

Call transaction SE80 and select Repository Browser -> Program.

Enter the program name: SM_PREP_MAINTENANCE_OPTIMIZER

Select the glasses.

Now select the 1st line from the tree and with the right mouse click

select "Activate".

When you have succesfully activated the objects, please call transaction

SE38 and run program: SM_PREP_MAINTENANCE_OPTIMIZER.

The configuration for the Maintenance Optimizer will be done by the

report.

Hope this helps,

Dolores

Thanks Dolores, Finally I have seen the screen of Planning Maintenance (MO),

But it's giving Error "Current IBase component is not in an active IBase"

Do you have any idea about it?

Harish

Hello Harish,

In dswp, choose a Solution, go to Operation Setup->Edit->Initial data transfer for Ibase and click, this will create the ibase in IB52 for the system-clients defined in the Solution. In the solution don´t forget to assign system-clients fo the different roles, and with righ mosuse button "put in Solution".

Hope this helps,

Dolores

Hello Harish,

Configuring your Solution Manager Basic Settings (because that is what you need to get Maintenance Optimizer up and running), did you use SPRO? And if you did use SPRO, did you go through Initial Configuration? If so, Maintenance Optimizer should be running. If not -> you can also choose configuring the Basic Settings with the Advanced Configuration (this is not Wizard based). Going through this, you won't get these error messages.

And, if you configured your Basic Settings just this way and you still get errors, I would advice to open a message in the SAP Support Portal.

Best regards,

Annett

In order to connect solution manager to OSS means you need to configure the systems in solution manager using T-code SMSY.

After configuring you need to configure maintanace optimizer in solution manger.while configuring you need to specify the your S user id.

The above links will help you.

Hi Harish,

Did you implement the relevant notes for MOPZ? Note 990534, 1008717, 1022797? Activeate the BC sets for MOPZ? Did you follow SPRO-> SAP Reference IMG->Solution Manager , etc? What is your product version and SP level?

Can you tell wht stpes you followed to configure MOPZ? Do write back with more details.

Hi Kumaravel/Kumar,

Thanks very much for the reply.

Kumaravel, I am configuring SAP Solution Manager 4.0 with SAP NetWeaver 2004s.

I have followed all the steps those are mentioned in the "Step by Step configuration of Maintenace Optimizer"

The SAP note 990534 is not required as of ST400 -SP11 as mentioned by SAP in the configuration documents.

SAP note 1008717 is included in SAPKB70011 which is already applied in my system and 1022797 pointing to note 1008717 only.

I have applied all relevant support packages before starting the MO. The details are given below :

SAP_BASIS 700 0011 SAPKB70011

SAP_ABA 700 0011 SAPKA70011

Is there any other check which should I do?
