Multi Line Crystal Report Issue

I have very little knowledge of Crystal Reports and the company that I work for is stuck in the 1960's of technology. We have the version 9.2.0.448 and I cannot create a multi line field. I have used the "can grow" function and that worked for some of the fields, but not all. Are there any other solutions that I might be able to try in order to get this issue fixed?

Not sure what you mean by multiline field and why Can grow only works some time

Please give example of what you have , what you want and what is going wrong
