Custom IdP prevents functionality of IDE

Hello Friends,

I was developing a custom IdP using Cloud Identity Authentication and linked it to my cloud platform landscape. I am able to create users using the custom IdP and authenticate them to applications on the platform.

However, I am not able to use GIT or WebIDE testing/preview functionality with this custom IdP. Like the users in the below questions, it is possible to authenticate and access the WebIDE, but my GIT and preview functionality doesn't work.

I have the proper roles set up (or else access to the IDE would be forbidden). I am wondering if there are missing roles within IDE testing (different app) and the GIT integration that I cannot see from the CP cockpit. Also since those threads didn't provide any clear solution I am opening this thread up in hopes of finding an answer.

Hi Mark,

Can you please check if Principal Propagation is set to enabled in the Trust settings?

Trust -> Local Provider Settings -> Principal Propagation
