default printer in tcode va02

hello everybody,

Kindly help me about my problem in setting the default printer in tcode va02

because it alwayz default to a wrong printer when i tried to print a report.

Please help!! anyone?

Hi,

Configure the printers using the SETTINGS -> Printers and Faxes from the Start Menu.

Then make the right printer as a defualt one.

and you can use it as LOCL (local printer). then use the same LOCL in the VA02.

take the help of some networking guy to configure the printer, if you can't do it.

Hi Anji,

I set already my printer in settings->printers..and also in SAP under System->User profile->Own data-Default printer....but when i check the tcode

VF02 and try to print the report...it doesnt capture the defult printer..

Please advice..

Hi,

in VF02 from menu GOTO -> Header -> Output

where you will define the output type and partner, medium ,Lang etc

select the line and go to COMMUNICATION METHODS

in that enter the LOGICAL DESTINATION as your default printer as LP01 or LOCL like that and select print immediately check box.

and in FURTHER DATA also check SEND IMMEDIATELy.

Now execute the output and see, it will print

Hi anji,

Thanks for the knowledge...the one you said is changing of default printer per document..how about it defaults to all documents when printing..coz it only effects per document no..

i tried to check the Spro configuration.the output type is rd07.but i cant find where to change the default printer in that configuration..
