Hi Experts,

what is blocked stock returns in Physical Inventory and we do Physical Inventory for

which one [storage location or warehouse ].

Hi Vijay,

Physical invebntory can be carried out at storage location level. (MI01)

But if you have activated WM you can also do it at warehouse level.(LI01N)

Reg. your first question, can you elaborate a bit more on it?

Thanks for the Nice reply. In Physical Inventory Document I saw that,

[ Note that the blocked stock returns and the stock in transfer cannot be inventoried ].

So that only I asked that Question.

Hello Vijay,

Blocked Stock Returns are the stock which is return stock from Customer or the stock which can be return back to vendor. To restrict the usage of this stock mostly business do transfer posting for this mateial as BLOCKED stock.

Physical inventory can be carried out in the following way:

<b>If using Inventory Management:</b>

In this case, physical inventory will be carried out at Storage Location level / Batch level. There are several transactions for serveral kind of stock but main transactions transaction to create physical inventory is MI01.

<b>If using Warehouse Management:</b>

In this case, physical inventory will be carried out at Storage bin level (this will create physical inventory document for entire storage bin) or Material Quant level (This will create physical inventory for particular material stock).
