T001 changed by DDIC

Former Member

We've found that(using Tcode:SCU3) the content (Comp. address info) of T001 table has been changed several times over the past month by user ID: DDIC. Is this mean the changes actually made by DDIC(as someone logged in with this ID)? or other tcode can initiate the change, and the program/report has utilized DDIC to make actual changes. If so, what are some of the tcodes that can initiate such change? I appreciate if anyone can help me understand this better, and how I go about finding a person who made the change.

Hello,

In some cases it so happens the whenever we change the status of a sap client via tcode scc4 ie "Allow changes to customizing and cross client objects" and from "No changes allowed" mode to " Changes Allowed " , then such an entry is made in the tables.Check this as under

First note the same for the table t001. Ask yr basis person to change the status of the client as mentioned above via tcode scc4. Then again check the status of the table.

Hope this helps.

Pl dont forget to award points if resolved.

Hi,

The changes simply means that somebody looged in usind DDIC and the activities performed by it are reflected over there.

However it may not be the case that person who logged in using DDIC has manually changed the entries. It may be with respect to some dependencies between tables and the t-codes. Any change in some t-code or the activity performed using that t-code may update the tables in the data repository.

Similar is the case for T001 which has the details about the company code and client etc.

So the changes made using scc4 for a particular client can also have the effect.
