Exception aggregation not working after migrated to BW on hana 7.5

Dear Experts,

We are using exception aggregation in our queries, after migrated to Bw on hana 7.5, its not working and its giving the below message in query designer.

Please guide me.

Diagnosis

The query contains exception aggregations or currency/unit conversions for which calculation with high precision is not requested according to the query and InfoObject settings. These exception aggregations or currency/unit conversions will therefore be calculated without high precision if they are not calculated in SAP HANA DB/BWA.

These exception aggregations or currency/unit conversions can be calculated in the SAP HANA DB/BWA however.

SAP HANA DB/BWA always uses decimal floating point numbers with 34 decimal places (decfloat34, long decfloat) when calculating exception aggregations or currency/unit conversions. This means that SAP HANA DB/BWA calculates exception aggregations and currency/unit conversions with high precision without considering the query or InfoObject setting.

System Response

For all exception aggregations apart from "Counter for All Detailed Values" and "Counter for All Detailed Values That Are Not Zero, Null, or Error" and currency/unit conversions, the result might differ slightly if the exception aggregation or currency/unit conversion is calculated in SAP HANA DB/BWA. In very rare cases, a numeric overflow might occur.

Procedure

To ensure that the query result does not differ, and that no numeric overflow occurs, you can select calculation with high precision in the query or InfoObject settings.

Procedure for System Administration

Thanks,

Nag
