Transfer Max Valid Value from MIC to Batch Classification

Hi All,

We have an scenario of inspection lot with inspection points, where we normally post to the batch classification the summarized result from QAMR-MITTLEWERT to the correspondent class characteristic. However, we have a new requirement where for certain characteristics, we must transfer not the mean value but the MAXIMUM (highest) recorded value for the characteristic amongst all the inspection points. I tried using formula parameter "CA-Maximum valid meas. value for char". The problem is that the value that is transferred to the batch is still the mean value not the max value.

I tried creating a "ZA" formula parameter as copy of "CA" and changed field MAXWERT for MITTLEWERT, but still the max value gets stored in MAXWERT and the value that passes to the batch is the one in MITTLEWERT.

We are aware that we can achieve this with a custom routine, but my gut feeling tells me there must be a way to solve it using the standard.

Hi, with internal support we have found the solution by increasing the number of samples via sampling procedure. So no inspection points required to record the multiple values for the characteristic.
