Event Triggered Background Job after Process Chain Completes

Hi,

I need to trigger a background job that performs some housekeeping jobs (deletes flat files for data protection) on the file system, but it can only run after the Process Chain completes a file upload into the BW system.

I have read in a number of posts about using SM62 to create a custom event, but how can I integrate that into the Process chain or define a background job that is triggered by the Event.
