ODS vs Infocube

Hi,

I have an important question about the choice of ODS or infocube. I know exactly the differences between ODS and infocube (Details level, replacement managment, MDM for the cube,etc...)

But i'm face to a decision to take, and on a good system i know what choice i'll take. I mean that i'm working on a system with not good performance and not too many free diskspace.

So i have data in cube or ODS which are datasource for a consolidating report.

I need an ODS to consolidate data based on a specified key. But usually i prefer to put final result in cube to make reporting only based on cube.

But due too technical server reason, i don't know if it is good idea to put an infocube after the ODS.

So in this case what is the best ? What do you think ?
