Using dynamic Approvers with basic Approvals

Hi all,

for a special workflow we need a basic approval to force the employee to commit his work to proceed the workflow in IDM. Unfortunately, the employee, which has to do a manual task outside the IDM workflow, has to be determined by IDM during the runtime.

The approver of the task depends on the used repository, but neither "%$rep.$NAME%" nor "%AUDITID%" works in this context.

The last filter I used is the following:

select mskey from idmv_vallink_basic_active where
(mcAttrName = 'MXREF_MX_ROLE' or mcAttrName = 'MX_AUTOROLE') and
mcLinkMSKEYVALUE in
(select varValue from MC_REPOSITORY_VARS where VarName = 'APP_ADMIN_ROLE' and repository in (select repository from mxp_audit where AuditID = %AUDITID%))

I use this filter for the approvers field within the approval task.

Is there anybody, who can help to solve this problem?

Kind regards,

Achim Heinekamp

Hello Achim,

where are you using this statement? In the filter of the field on the mask itself? Or in the access control of the approve task?

Normally I use scripts to determine the approvers if they are not fix. I do this in an action task before going into the approve task, so the needed "approver" field is already set. Helps with sending the info emails beforehand, too. ^^

.

Regards,

Steffi.
