PI Monitoring Channel Avalibility Metric does not get collected

Hi Experts,

i'm on SolMan 7.2 and trying to Monitor a PI System on NW 7.3.

I run to all Setup processes (SolMan Setup, Managed System Setup, PI Monitoring Setup). As far as i can see, everything works fine, except for the Communication Channel Monitoring.

Via Tcode MAI_TOOLS i can see that the Metric PI_CHNL_AVAIL_METRIC never collected any data from the data Provider:

In the Tcode E2E_ALERTING_FWK i see only warnings for DPC_PULL_CORE, but i does not belong to this metric.

Agent Framework does not show any Errors that can lead to this metric.

The smdagent config file does not contain the E2E_PI_CHANNEL_DC metric, how this can happen?

Would be nice if you hav any idea, where i can look for a solution.

edit: Just to be clear. There is Monitoring activity for the PI System. Just Channels are missing:

Hi Philipp,

I have the same problem, I guess only channels which are problematic show up in monitoring UI, that's why it's empty.
