Sending SMS throw portal

Hi Experts,

How we implement SMS throw portal if we can implement explain the procedure.In our project we don't have R/3 in this phase.

SMS like text on your mobile?

You can set up an iview that sends an email through SMTP. Most SMS provider translate this into SMS to the modile phones. You can probably get the mobile phone number via a API query from the UME.
