Hi Bpc Friends

There is something strange in BPC Dev.

If I run a report with measure YTD (the model is YTD) everything is fine, but if I run the same report with measure periodic I get the following error:

I have compared the formula perodic in Dev with Quality and it is exactly the same

The error like this often happen on the old BPC and BW SP's. And it's not an easy job to find the exact note...

I recommend to upgrade to the latest SP for BPC and BW.

P.S. If you search notes for: UJO_READ_EXCEPTION_018

you will see 30 related notes...

Or read all mentioned 30 notes and check if any is related to your BPC and BW SP :)

"if we upgrade BPD should we upgrade BPQ and BPP as well?" - yes, all systems has to be on the same SP level.

Hi Vadim

The issue was fixed.

It was removed from the formula the symbol ##

Very old issue, it was solved in some SP (creating correct formula).

Hi Michele,

Open the report and check once the below:

EPM >>> Options >>> Context Options >>> Context Lock.

Check for dimension MEASURES that the same is not locked on YTD parameter.

Thanks,

Karan

no it isn't locked

if I run for measure=ytd it will be ok while if I run for measure=periodic it will fail
