We have many users in the MDM System. One of them has checked out a record exclusively with NO Join permissions.
How will the Administrator know who has checked out the record?
If the particular person is on vacation, then how can we force a check in?
Can any one suggest how to determine who has checked out the record by userid and how to force a check in (by the admin)
Hi, In Console under Roles-->Function, if you will see for admin.. by default admin always have access to execute Check In Owned Records.... I guess By login as admin.. admin can Check In that particular record which was checked out by different user....
Hope I understand question correctly....
Let me know If I am wrong Adhappan...

Ron

yes, i just tried it
Admin has the rights to check in any record - Right Click on a record in Data Manager -> Check In / Out -> Check In
the admin can also view both versions of a checked out record - Right Click on a record in Data Manager -> Check In / Out -> put a check for 'All Versions'
If you see any garbled data (such as red lines across the record) then go to View -> Refresh
you should now be able to see the changed record
alternatively, you can roll back the record if you want to ignore the changes
