which Virsa product to download

Hello everyone

I am trying to download Virsa compliance calibarator & Role Expert.

I could not find much information in installation guide. Can anyone please let me know

which Virsa to download for CC and RE. In SAP Marketplace ..i noticed the following and try to

know which to dowload.

VIRSANH510 700

VIRSAHR510 700

Hi Julio,

the version you need to download depends on the system you want to load it onto. That determines the path you need to follow in order to get to the right download file. From your original post I can not see this information so no further help can be given.

Thanks for info. I am trying to install on ECC 6.0/Netweaver 2004s. I am still having trouble identify the right product. Would you please let me know which product number should i donwload for Compliance calibarator.

Hi Julio,

I suggest to follow this path in the SAP Support Portal:

Downloads -> SAP Installations & Upgrades -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP Solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance -> SAP GRC Access Control -> VIRSA Compliance Calibrator -> COMPLIANCE CAL. 5.1_NW04S -> Installation

From there pick "RTA 5.1 Installation Package for 700 HR and Non HR Systems" for download (if you don't have a pure HR system).

Then go to "Installation JAVA" and download all SPs.

<b>NOTE:</b> This is only a suggestion. I've not done an Installation of a CC NetWeaver Version so far. If you are still unsure I suggest you contact SAP for clarification (open a message through SAP Support Portal).

Hi

We are planning to install SAP GRC Access Control products (VIRSA

tools) on our SAP ERP server (ECC 6.0). We want to install the

following 4 GRC components.

1.Virsa Compliance Calibrator

2.Virsa Access Enforcer

3.Virsa Role Expert

4.Virsa Firefighter

Our SAP system environment is as follows:

ECC 6.0 release

AIX UNIX 5.3 OS release

Oracle 10G database release

Ours is an ABAP stack installation.

We have implemented SAP_HR 600 component of SAP HR module.

I have reviewed the following SAP notes on this subject:

Note 1001782 - VIRSAHR 520_700 Install or Delta Upgrade on SAP_BASIS 700Note 994917 - Install GRC Access Control VIRSANH 4.0 on SAP 700 Non-HR

As per these notes, Installation of VIRSA is installing the related add-on component to the SAP system. I am little bit confused over the VIRSA installation on ECC 6.0.

I am looking for clarification on the following queries:

1.Is it true that installation of VIRSA is installing the SAPK-

523COINVIRSAHR (K-523COINVIRSAHR.CAR) add-on component to the system as per the above note?

2.I noticed that there are different notes for installing VIRSA to HR

vs Non-HR systems, Is there any specific steps to follow while

installing VIRSA on a HR system?

3.Do we need JAVA stack to be installed for VIRSA to work?
