Direct Acces of SAP tables via BODS

Hi ,

I have Arc table in SAP with four columns and 50K records. In one of the blog it was written that if the number of records is not huge we can access SAP tables directly from BODS.

Can I acces the above SAP table directly from BODS ?? Since i am not sure about the access rights in SAP to run the ABAP data flow. Will it create any problem in SAP side like job failure(if some job is trying to access the table same time). Is there any other alternative way to do it ?

Are you referring to my blog called Extracting data from SAP ECC? I suppose not. Because if you've read it, you'd know that reading from the data layer is the best approach in such case.
