Classify Document Types for Document Splitting - Unable to Maintian in Q systems

Hello SAP Experts,

In the SAP Menu Path - SPRO ->Financial Accounting (New)->General Ledger Accounting (New)->Business Transactions->Document Splitting->Classify Document Types for Document Splitting

Dev System - I maintined Transaction & variant for Doc types Z1 & Z2 (new doc types created), but when I save the changes it did not ask for any transport

Q System - In Q systems (has status 'not modifiable'). I can see doc types Z1 & Z2 Transaction & variant as blank,

I am not sure why in Dev it did not ask for transport i was thinking that I can maintain this directly in Q but I am getting "not modifiable" in Q system.

Since then trans & variant are BLANK in Q I am getting error msg in Q to maintain it.

Can someone guide me how to maintian this in Q system.

If it's not automatically included in a transport, you can always add your entries manually to a transport request.

Just select 'Transport' from the menu: Table view> Transport & select the entries you want to include.

Hi

This change should ideally generate Transport request in your Dev Client. However whether particular configuration change generates TR or not is controlled through transaction SCC4. It may be possible that you did configuration on DEV but in wrong client where "No automatic recording of changes for transport" is set in SCC4. Your Q system is also controlled by SCC4 to prevent direct changes.
