Script output alignment

Hi all,

I am working on 5 layouts and out of these the alignment for three gets disturbed when the printer is changed. Whereas the other 2 works good. The page format used is Letter for all the five. I have checked in SPAD and the device type for the printer includes this format. Can someone help me to solve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Kalpana

Hi Kalpana,

Please let me know which font types you are using on the paragraph formats. Are you trying to print a different language than english? if so please let me know the languages too

Hi,

The paragraph formats use Times font. The layouts are printed in English. The layouts which are working are in Courier but the ones which gets disturbed are in Times. Is there a way to retain Times font and have the alignment without getting disturbed in both the printers?

Thanks & Regards,

Kalpana

Hi

i faced a similar problem, if you have no issues of changing fonts change your font format to HELV format, the font being a Unicode font works both with a line printer as well as a laser printer.

Hope that Helps

Hi,

The output is getting disturbed when it is passed to Virtual printer. Will the HELV hold good for that also? I have right now changed the layouts to COURIER font as that seems to work in both the printer types. But I was wondering if there is a way to retain TIMES font. Is there a way for that?

Thanks & Regards,

Kalpana
