what would be the configuration steps for configuring E-Mail Notification

Hi John,

what kind of E-Mail notifications are you talking about? There are many, many...

I just guess you want to have an E-Mail notification for subsription and/or approval.

In this case go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management.

In the config iView go to Utilities -> Channels -> E-mail Channel.

Edit the object EMAIL and enter your SMTP server there.

Restart the portal and the notifications from subscription and approval should go to the mail server.

Of course the portal users need to have the right email adress in the user account.

Hi All,

I would like to Customize all the Notifications Mails.

I found some of these in

Content Administrator>Collaboration Content>Configuration Room Mails

but i am not sure if they are all the notifications.

Are there other Notifications in the Portal, and where they are?

If its emails through the groupware framework, this is what you need:

But as stated previously - there is quite a few different email notifications, and because of that it gets rather complicated to configure the right one.
