Transportation planning date in SAP ECC

Hi All,

we are having a requirement from our customer, to maintain the planned transportation date in SAP system.

Actually our client is having the distribution business and they have their shipping details in one month advance. we have to maintain the already decided transportation date(the date on which ship is available to transport the material) in SAP system and then we want to convey the delivery date to customer, considering this transportation date.

Can anyone here please let me know , if there is any standard process SAP system provide to maintain the transportation date(manually) and not allowing system to calculate.

or we have to do some kind of customization for this?
