EKET is the table that stores PO schedule lines. When PO is created against a scheduling agreement, user has access to change the schedule lines copied to PO. & that becomes the main source of schedule lines as PO is actual legal document.

Schedule lines is just a time table shared between supplier and customer when & how much we are expecting it, but it's not necessary that supplier ships by schedule line, that is why there is no relationship of EKBE with schedule line.

Even when GR is done, the moment of the GR posting the GR quantity in the schedule lines (field EKET-WEMNG) will be filled up to the schedule line quantity (field EKET-MENGE) beginning with the lowest date.

With context to MRP, MRP only take cares of open qty that is Po qty - GR. So understanding that GR and schedule lines have relation, is technically not there.

So the distribution of the GR quantities to the schedule lines is for a correct function is not important.

    Hope that helps!
