Could you pls explain the difference between the difference the Requirement field in Access sequence and Requirement field in Pricing procedure.

Requirement in Pricing:

A factor in the condition technique that restricts access to a condition table. The system only accesses a condition table to determine the price if the requirement specified has been met.

Example:

The system uses an access sequence to determine the price of a material. One of the accesses in the sequence contains the requirement "in foreign currency." The system only uses the table behind this access if the sales order for which the price must be calculated is in a foreign currency.

Hi,

The usage factor or the purpose of implementation of this requirement field is "what ever the requirements you are passing in this field that has to fulfull before the next step of the processing taking place" .In order to eloborate or more specific on this.

The requirement at access sequence level is used for example you want to access conditions records for a customer to a condition type. Inorder to be more specifc on the system search for fetching this condition record,you can set requirement as export related details are maintained for this customer.So you are control thing search strategy at the condition record levels.

where as on the other hand requirement at pricing level is used to process that particular condition type during document processing if and only if the requirement is fulfilled.If the requriement is fulfilled then the system go and fetches the conditon records through the sequence made in the aceess sequence.

hi,

requirements in access sequence is used to controll certain fields in access sequence at access sequence level.it will be further more specific for accessing cond records.

requirements in pricing procedure is used to fulfil the basic criteria to access the record.
