Can anyone explain PPC3 Logic for Trading Goods;

We buy and resale goods and price picked up from Planned Price 3 by sales team in Material Master which is an output of PPC3 costing varient. What is best way to get accurate price in PPC3; Our logic looks at last PO Price; But that creates problem as we have multiple offshore and local source with price variation and onhand goods can be from either source; So pricing based on PPC3 current logic we are having difficulty with the variability. Anyone has any idea about standard industry practice for Trading goods (Buy-Sell); Any suggestion will be appreciated / Thanks
