hi,

i need to create a table with data element J_8ACDOCID ...while creating it gives a message "Object DTEL J_8ACDOCID is in reserved name range for SAP partner"

wht the solution for it ...

Hi,

All the Names starting with J* are reserved for SAP CIN version ,

so you can't use such names for dictionary objects.

Hi,

J_8ACDOCID is not a system defined data element.if u want to create adata element that should start with Z/Y like table name.

No data elements J_8ACDOCID does not exist in SAP.

Check your requirement

Hi Chaitanya,

If we need to create any custom element in sap It should start with Y or Z,all the other elements starting with other letters is reserved for SAP.Thats why ur getting the message Reserved for SAP. Check your Specifications once...

Hai,

Every data element that are created by you(us) should have the name starting with y or Y or z or Z.

Hi Chaitanya,

U can create a data element of ur choice starting with "Z" or "Y".....other letter are reserved for SAP standards...which is why u r getting that error message...

Hi chaitanya,

Instead of J_8ACDOCID try giving the name as Z_8ACDOCID or Y_8ACDOCID....
