SP upgrade

Hello Experts,

i am performaing SP upgrade on ECC 5.0 system. in upgrading SPAM/SAINT patch to level '22' (latest on OSS - original level is '17' - Basis release 640). However the system is not showing any progess in terms of SPAM/SAINT update for several hrs, the process is stuck on 'imp all' state (this is what system shows on task bar). unable to find any detail logs, in actionlogs i could see the phase 'IMPORT_PROPER' is being executed. As per my knowlede SPAM upgrade should not take so much of time. Is there any location where I can see the detail logs.
