I have developed a Web dynpro DC in NWDS 2.0.13 and i need to deploy it to WAS 6.40 SP 16. When i deploy the DC it gives me the following error :

I have checked the Used DC's . The DC com.sap.security.api.sda(default) is missing on the server. <b>The server is WAS 6.40 sp16</b> . Could anyone guide me as to how to add this DC to the server ?

Hi,

In webdynpro perspective,click DCMetaData,select UsedDC,right click and then select <b>com.sap.security.api.sda</b>,

the above process if your working with NWDI,

if your working with local development

select the project,right click ,select java build path

upload the com.sap.security.api.jar

Make sure u only deploy the component in j2ee engine,if any body is going to deploy in the same engine again you will get the same error.

Hi Melwyn,

Problem here is, the application you are trying to deploy is dependant on other dc/Applications. Means, you have added some other DCs in used DCs of this DC.

And your application is referencing those DCs in your code.

So, first of all, deploy other DCs which are added as Used DCs. Then try to deploy your application. It should work.

Restart the SDM through Netweaver developer studio,select the tab j2ee engine,

and try to deploy once again

First deploy the DC's which are used in quickpol DC, and then deploy quickpol Dc

Hi Monis,

The reason why you get clusterwide expection is because some application is already deployed

which shares the same name. Unless and until you undeploy that

particular application the new application won't deploy.

In your case some SCA might be creating problems, verify SDM deployed SCA 's and "sap.com/quickpol".undeploy them and then deploy the same "sap.com/quickpol" .

May be you need to check the depedencies of "sap.com/quickpol"

I think <b>renaming</b> of the application might also help.check it
