Hi to all
I have a one report in bi7.0 time management , here i have a start date and end date and time in and time out , (when we use to swap this one is time in & when we use to go back in 6.0pm this one is time out) , here i have to calculate present and absent date ,can u give me any logic how will i calculate that one , plz help me

If you perform any transformation on the data, then it betetr to have ODS or cube is just fine.
The logic if computing the attendence hours should be done in the update rules / transformations.

You need to capture the TIME IN and TIME OUT and bring that data to BW and store in your reporting Cube or ODS.
The difference between these is the time of present and if the difference is 0, it is absent. This is the logic.
Pl consider the following:
1. Have time and time out in the reportig cube / ODS and extract this data from the source system where attendence is recorded.
2. Derive the difference in the report as a calculated key figure
There are some other ways of doing this, but this seems simple and easy to me.

You need to check if Time In and Time Out are Blank '#' then its absent other wise its present.
