Hi All,

I am not a ABAP dev so not privy to oData syntax here we have a scenario where we need to create microcharts within m.tile. For test purposes local JSON data was used to bind to charts which is binding as required, now the challenge being faced by ABAP team is to replicate this same structure in oData svc. Sharing the json below and i believe that this parent/child structure is the only way in which we can make use of microcharts.

The devs are facing an issue with the data property(i.e an array holding obj for F.E) which should contain the same property of count having multiple instances as each instance will be a bar in the microchart.

Please suggest as to how can we create such a structure/pattern in ABAP oData response.

  "data": {
	"Home": [{
		"type": "column",
		"heading": "Revenue",
		"data": [{
		April: 100
		"data": [{
		    "Count": 200,
		    "Count":250,
		    "Count":350,
		    "Count":450,
		}]			]

Best regards

Hi Former Member

i came accross this post of yours whilst searching for my solution Issue with ColumnMicroChart binding wherein you have created the same odata structure as required by us. Could you please help me with some inputs on the ABAP/oData side as to how such a structure can be created for microchart binding.

Insights from your end will be very much appreciated.

Best regards
