KKS1 Production Order Status

Hello, experts.

I want to ask something about KKS1 behavior. I already search the forum (and google) about KKS1 requirement for Production Order, and I get that production order that has status DLV or TECO can get variance calculation in KKS1.

However, I have a case, where some of production orders that CURRENTLY don't have status DLV or TECO could be calculated in KKS1. The production indeed had status TECO, but I already revoke it on the different day, but same period.

I attach the screenshot of status changes screen for my production order in question. Also I attach KKS1 display list for that production order.

Is it normal behavior of KKS1? Or something that I missed? Thank you for your help before.

Hello Nicko,

For the first order system is having the status VCAl i.e - Variances calculated.Which means variance is already calculated for that order. So if you check the variance for this order it will always show 0 value which means no variance is calculated. And for 2nd order its fine because of not having TECO and DLV status its not relevant for variance calculation.

For 2nd order do confirmation and goods posting. Then calculate the variance, you will get variance numeric value instead of 0 value.

Hello, Swapnil Rajane

It means, once an order have TECO status, even the TECO status is already inactive, the variances can be calculated in KKS1 KKS2, isn't it?

Hello Nicko,

Variance will only gets calculated when order status is TECO or DLV.In the screen shot of variance which you have shared no variance calculation occurs for the order in the given period 5,all values are showing 0.You can click on the icon "Messages" button to see the details of the error message showing in red light indicator.

Also try to check the same by executing the same in the present period 6 and see the details of the error message.Use tcode KKS2 for single order and check the same.

Hello Swapnil Rajane, thank you for your answer.

I try to run KKS2 for single order that production order (number 14056525) will get calculated but with 0 variances.

This is a little different with my other production order (copied from 14056525, become number 14058155). I release 14058155 and try to run KKS2, and get these attached screens.

So these 2 production orders has a little difference.

Order 14056525 (first shown) has status TECO, but get inactive soon. If I run KKS2 for 14056525, the variance will be calculated but with 0 values. However, 14056525 will get status VCAL after I run KKS2 (real run).

Order 14058155 (second shown) is copy from 14056525, but never get TECO. If I run KKS2 for 14058155, it will return an error and tell that 14058155 has no TECO status. Therefore, 14058155 will not get status VCAL.

My question is, how can KKS1 / KKS2 has this behavior. Those 2 production order currently don't have status TECO. But 14056525 indeed had status before, but now it's inactive.

Any advice?

Thank you,
