Hi all,

we are trying to create Webpart using <b>iView Web Part Toolkit</b> but when we open that <b>iView [Portal Page]</b> in sharepoint it does'nt come up it, keeps loading itself again and again.

Steps we followed:

1. install <i>IViewWebPart.msi</i> and copy <i>IViewHost.htm</i> at specified location

2. copy url of BI report from SAP EP and generate XML from <b>IViewExport</b>

3. then using <b>IViewToSharePoint</b> tool publish it in sharepoint.

Any Help will be appreciated

Thanks in Advance,

Sachin

Hi Sachin,

We are experiencing exactly the same problem with the page continually loading itself and never displaying. Did you manage to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Chris

We have the same problem trying to use some iViews into a SharePoint environment (MOSS 2007). It was possible to find some iViews which worked (like BEx documents, Calendar, User Details). But when it comes to the ESS or MSS or some published BI Reports iViews the nonstop reload occurs.

Is there anybody from the EP world who could help us with the reloading iViews in SharePoint?

Are there any query strings that an iView expects when is called outside EP ?

Is this depending on the technology used for building iViews? Do the iViews build on BSP technology have to be treated different?

Any hint/help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

We have found OSS 1048797 which appears to explain this issue.

The iFrame HTML document and the BEx Web Application need to have domains with a common part and must only differ in the first part of the domain name.
