InfoCube Data not visible after transporting addition of dimensions/ characteristics

Hi guys,

I adjusted an InfoCube by adding three characteristics into three new dimensions. Shouldn't be any problem. However, after transporting the change to production system the Cube does not show any data in LISTCUBE any more. The data is still present in fact and dim tables.

Executing RSRV checks on the Cubes data provided me with the following error message for the three new dimensions I added:

Dimension table xxx does not contain a zero record (xxx = technical name of the dimension table).

Searching the support portal did not provide me with any solution on this issue. Correct Error in RSRV does not seem to work.

Any ideas how to fix this? When I transported the Cube to quality system everything worked just fine.

Problem was solved by opening the system and reactivating the InfoCube.

Hi Tobias,

Please check 2106099 - Missing records in LISTCUBE or "Display Data" for an InfoProvider looks like similar to your issue

Addition of new field might disturb the index. Please drop and regenerate the index and then give a try. If you have used remodeling option then data will be definitely available after the change.

Hi,

it seems cube structure got changed, try use program 'CUBE_SAMPLE_CREATE' to generate few records. If the cube structure is not disturbed you will be able to generate few records, else it says 'invalid entry'.

thereafter, try re-active cube, ensure no data while you activate it.

btw, have you done remodelling to the cube or just changed using edit option?
