Setting Cycle Counting Indicator

I am trying to configure CC setting. My requirement is to set the period first for the category of items. In the transaction OMCO, the first line is showing as plant 001, which we have not deleted as being standard. However, while doig any changes to the period the following error comes.

Check table T001: entry 0001 does not exist - Warning.

On enter

Date 31.12.0000 cannot be converted. (Correct this).

Can anybody help me out how to correct this date and where.

As per the original SAP plant 001 is assigned to Company Code 001, which is not maintained in T001.

Hi,

You should be able to continue if it is just a warning message.

Plant 1000 has been safely left alone in many implementations and although some people remove it and all associated config, as many people just leave it there and ignore it.

What may have happened is that in your case someone has done part of both, i.e. left some config there and removed other config for plant 0001.

Are you not able to continue and configure the number of counts per period etc. for the other plants that you are using?

Thanks Steve for your response. My main problem lies is that I could not do the required config as system was giving the following error.

Warnign Mesg = "Check table T001: entry 0001 does not exist"

Error Mesg = "Date 31.12.0000 cannot be converted. (Correct this)"

I need to overcome the above to congigure for my plant. Please suggest how to remove the error.

Hi,

Someone has deleted the 0001 plant in some tables and not others.

Try adding plant 0001 again in config.

Or try deleting the 0001 line within OMCO.

(with the delete line icon).

Dear steve

Deleting 001 line entries could not be deleted as it is showing the error mesg. Additionally plant is there in the system which is attached to Company Code 001, though in T001 Company Code 001 does not exists.

Hi,

Do you still get the error message if you try the following.

When you get the display of the entries, before doing anythiong else, flag ALL 0001 entires (not just one) and then try the "delete entry" icon (the one with the red line?

If this does not work then you will have to configure 0001 fully so that you can delete the lines.

This is the only option I am afraid.

Thanks Steve

Deletion is not allowing. As I already have the plant which is attached to Company Code 001, I need to maintian Company code 001 in T100 or attached the plant 001 to existing company code (how) to overcome the error.

Hi,

go to SPRO

Select Enterprise structure > Assignment > Logistics general > Assign Plant to company code.

Assign it to a valid company code and the error message should go.
