Hi Gurus,
I am trying to run the Cross Country Action through PA40 and this action is not creating a new record in IT 0031 (Reference Personnel Numbers) automatically even though I have assigned the old personnel number in IT 0000 ( Reference Personnel Number Field).
Kindly help me by stating how to generate IT 0031 automatically. Suitable points will be awarded.

Garima
Hi,
I have rewarded the earlier reply.
I am having one more query. Using Dynamic action is it possible to store the same dates that are existing in IT 0041 ( Date Specification) of previous Personnel Number- PERNR ( Personnel Number existing prior to performing Cross Country Transfer Action in PA40) in IT 0041 of New Personnel Number ( generated as a result of Cross Country Action). If it can be done can I be enlightened in this regard.
Kindly Help and the replies will be suitably rewarded.
Regards,
Garima

Hello Garima
Please take a look the following information
According your in informations I could reproduce the problem in our internal 46C:
/NPA40 -> Country Reassignment per 01.01.2004 to DE01 for Personnel number 62055
Entry of Personnel number 62057 (to Germany -> Molga 01)
Separation of Personnel number 62055 (from Switzerland -> Molga 02)
/NPA30 -> 62055 -> IT0031 -> PG009 No data stored
/NPA30 -> 62057 -> IT0031 -> PG009 No data stored
/NSE11 -> PA0031 -> no entry
/NSE11 -> HRP1001 -> no entry
In my example there is no entry in table HRP1001 because I did work work with position 99999999. If you work with your own positions you will then receive an entry in table HRP1001. Please be aware that table HRP1001 is part of Organization and Planning whereas IT0031 and so table PA0031 is part of HR application for master data. The Country Reassingnment does normally not create an IT0031 and therefore there is no entry in table PA0031. This is Standard behavour and absolutly correct.
If you do a Country Reassignment but you don't change the country, the R/3 creates an IT0031, which is correct because you DID NOT do a Country Reassignment. You just choose the wrong action and the R/3 helps you to correct the situation.
The Reference personnel number infotype (IT0031) is used to assign several personnel numbers to one employee, if the employee has different employment relationships in one company. If an emplyee has more than one emmployent relationship within the company and these employment statuses are all accounted together, you must specify the order of priority for payroll in the Reference Pesonnel Number Priority (IT0121).
So this "accounting together" is impossible if the employee is working in two different coutries.
I want to point out that for an IT0031 an employee must have two active working contracts in one company. If you do a Country Reassignment the old employment is ended.
Hope this will explain you the situation.
Regards,
Jun
