Multicube creation

I'm in BW 3.1, I want to create a multicube MC2 based on a multicube MC1. The problem is MC2 uses an Infoprovider IF2 which is a copy of Infoprovider IF1 which is referenced in MC1.

Is there a way to copy MC1 to MC2 and somehow change the reference of IF1 to IF2 without having to remodel the new multicube MC2 from scratch?
