Read-only functionality in Netpoint

Is it possible to get read-only webbased access to Netpoint.

That means, if somebody looks for example at business partner data per web browser, it should not be possible to change the data there.

Nevertheless the data changed in SBO should be synchronized to netpoint.

My first idea: I change the rights of database access to read-only, but then there's probably also no possibility to write the data from SBO to Netpoint.

Any other ideas?
