When will the points be assigned for blogs written

Hi ,

I have created my profile and started blogging right away.

I have wriiten a blog by adding a new page in my profile.

But up to now i did not get any points assigned (it has been 5 days now).

I would like to know when will i get points to that and also i have reffered few people to SDN. Even i did not get any points for that.

Can any one suggest when will the points be assigned.

Hi Karthick,

do you mean your "MI UNVEILED 1" blog in the Junior Blog wiki area?

Please have a look into Craigs Blog regarding the points for blogs in this area.

For me this was a good blog for some frequent errors in mobile infrastructure.

But i am also only a junior;-)

Perhaps you have luck and the blog is moved to the expert blogs and you earn some points for the good work.

If possible you can perhaps also add this blog into the WIKI-Mobile Page or the Mobile FAQ's.

Sorry my mistake. The mobile FAQ is no WIKI Page and so not editable as you have it in other Wiki-Topics.

Thought you could add your Blog-FAQ's into it.

Hopefully you get some reward-points for your first blog.Mobile is topic of the month;-)

If not keep on blogging! You are doing good work(also in the forum)

We've noticed the blog and if you continue to do good work the rewards will come, as stated in my blog post about this new area.

Keep it up you are already in the lead based on the new <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/profile/2007/04/04/CoolestProfileandBlogContest">contest</a> I am holding. However keep in mind I AM NOT looking for someone who is only interested in points, regardless of how excited you are to have blogged we are looking for great content and points are secondary...

Thanks for the reply.

I believe in contributions towards SDN and of course I 100 % agree with you that points are secondary. We are here to spread the knowledge of SAP.

I will be continueing my good work towards forums and blogs.

You are awarded points by the beginner of the blog / thread. The points are awarded based on the helpfulness of our reply to that person.

Even I respond to blogs, but that should not mean that all my responses will be awarded points. I believe in the strategy that if I know the answer, i shold reply. If it is useful to the other person, he may or may not award points. It is subjective.

Don't worry abount the points, but certainly keep yourself motivated to contribute. Contibution on this site will always be enhancing your knowledge also, as there are problems we come accross which may be common & we may read the response & get solution for us.
