Hi Team,
We are in the process of migrating from XI3.1 SP6 to BI4.1 SP6 and our applications are on Linux Operating System. We have more than 10 million objects which needs to be migrated. What would be the best practice to do the migration and thins to keep in mind.
We have already run Repository Diagnostic Tool to remove any discrepancy between CMS and FRS.
Please suggest.
10 million objects is too many. It is time to clean up. I don't think 10 million objects are used by users. So 1st thing is Audit the objects, see which objects are not be been used past 1 year. Reach out to business, inform about the usage. Clean up unused objects.
Start migrating them using UDT. There are so blogs in this forum, please do some research if you have any questions, if you need help on migration.
