SSO Connection Test failed from EP to BW3.5

Hi

We have BW3.5 and EP6.0 test systems, and i am trying to configure SSO from portal, Did import certificate verify.der in BW and changed profile parameter values (login/accept_sso2_ticket=1, login/create_sso2_ticket=2 (tried with 0 also)).

Both systems are in same domain.

From Portal i am trying to create a new system from System Landscape, i have choosen Dedicated Application Server from the following list.

Dedicated Application Server for R/3 System

EP 5.0 System

HTTP System

JDBC System

R/3 System via Connection String

R/3 System with Load Balancing

Yahoo! System

And changed connector and WAS properties, In connector i have given

a) Application Host

b) Gateway service

c) Logical System Name

d) SAP Client

e) SAP SID

f) SAP System Number

g) Serverport

h) System Type (SAP_BW).

WAS Properties

a) WAS Description

b) WAS Hostname

c) WAS Protocol

System Alias

Configured " UM Configuration ", (selected alias name as reference system).

When i try to check "Connection Tests", after selecting SAP Web AS Connection, i am getting the following error

HTTP/S connection failed. Make sure the protocol, host name, and user mapping are correctly defined

Tried to check from Support->SAP Transaction -> selected system, and entered transaction (su01)..getting following error

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : N/A

Component Name : N/A

Application URL ':///webgui/!' is not valid! Please check the protocol and host entries for system 'basis17'..

See the details for the exception ID in the log file

Even i tried to do User Mapping, i got the following error:

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : pcd:portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admin_role/com.sap.portal.user_administration/com.sap.portal.user_mapping/com.sap.portal.userMappingAdmin/com.sap.portal.userMappingAdmin

Component Name : com.sap.portal.usermanagement.admin.UserMappingAdmin

User Mapping not fully available..

Exception id: 10:28_04/04/07_0002_3948650

See the details for the exception ID in the log file

I have followed all your inputs and weblogs, everywhere same procedure...don't know where i am making mistake.

After connection test, how do i check (apart from Support, transaction)? How do i create a sample bw iView?

Any help is appriciated.

Thanks

A Mohammad
