3.x Techincal Content Datasources during HANA migration with DMO

Hi Experts,

We are planning to migrate our BW system (from 7.4 anyDB) with DMO (to 7.5 on HANA).

I know we have to migrate all the 3.x datasources to 7.x and we have plenty of them.

We also have a lot of technical content datasources (0TCT*) which are still 3.x datasources. I would like to avoid the effort of this migration if it is possible.

My question is: do we have to migrate the 0TCT* datasources to 7.x BEFORE the migration or will they be rebuild during the migration? (They are 100% SAP standard built from the Business Content in BW version 3.1)

I can see in the document "First Guidance - migrate BW on HANA" in point 3.5.3.3 Regenerate Technical Content that the content needs to be regenerated.

Does this mean that we don't have to migrate the 3.x 0TCT* datasources before running the DMO?
