    Geraldo,

They are in the range AD01*. For instance the AD01DLIEF keeps the individual posted dynamic item calculations per generated debit memo / credit memo, while AD01DLI keeps the structure of the dynamic item (characteristics).

    Regards,

    Alex.

      Hi there,

here is a table that summarizes the connection between and the function of the main AD01* tables, and a quick overview of the Resource Related Billing process.

      1) Source (COBK and COVP contain all management accounting postings)

      2) DLI (e.g. CO document number, posting row etc.) is determined runtime

      3) RRB (DI Processor)

      4a) DLIs (AD01DLI) independent characteristics

4b) DLI document flow tables AD01DLIEF (-> VBAP), AD01DLISF (totals)

      5) Draft Bill (RRB) Data (VBRP, VBAP)

RRB works based on comparison between 2) and 4). The RRB procedure consists of two main steps: finding unbilled DLIs, and billing simulation and pricing (DMR). Note that no pricing against DLI in real life is performed.

As for 2), if any of the characteristics varies, there will be a new DLI item (meaning there is one DLI for each combination of relevant characteristics).

There are 2 different kinds of characteristics: INDEPENDENT characteristics that are stored in the DB (AD01DLI); and DEPENDENT characteristics that are calculated runtime (in customer-defined exits), are never stored in the DB, are derived from an independent characteristic, structures containing these are populated by standard function (AD01ATTRD).

Transparent Table AD01C_ATTR DEPENDENT characteristics (DB table)

Transparent Table AD01DLI INDEPENDENT characteristics (DB table)

      Structure AD01ATTRI1 Mandatory parameters

      Structure AD01ATTRI2 Independent parameters

Structure Z* Customer made independent parameters

Structure AD01ATTR holds ALL characteristics (runtime)

      Structure AD01ATTRD DEPENDENT characteristics (runtime)

      Structure AD01ATTRI INDEPENDENT characteristics (runtime)

Transparent Table AD01DLIEF DLI Flow: Individual (cost - never changes, unlike price)

Transparent Table AD01DLISF DLI Flow: Totals Flow

      Hope this answers your question,

      regards
