Physical sample label printer determination / output device in QM

Hello,

I have a requirement where I have to improve the printer determination for the physical sample label in QM module. Standard SAP only offers to set the output device per user, however the requirement is to print the physical sample label based on various plant locations where samples are taken, specific work centre could for example be used as condition for which printer to use.

Do you have any experience where this or similar enhancement have been implemented?

In config -

QM-->Quality Inspection--> Define print control.........

Select appropriate Reference Order Type.

Then select "printer specification"

Create/change printer spec - click on indicator "WCPr". This indicates the default work center printer is to be used.
