Hi,
I am quite new in developing fiori apps with SAPUI5 for the SAP Cloud Platform.
With the Web IDE everthing works as expected. I can run, deploy the app and request the data from a OData service
which I have defined in the Connectivity>Destination section.
I don't have direct access to the on-premise ABAP system, so the SAP Cloud Platform cloud connector is used to
link between the fiori applications in SAP Cloud Platform and the existing on-premise system.

In the future I would like to develop my fiori apps on a local environment and IDE.
I have already installed eclipse with the SAP plugins and the Java Web Tomcat server with the SAP JVM etc.
But when I starting the app in a SAP Fiori launchpad sandbox environment, I can't request the data from OData service anymore.

How is the recommended way to use a OData service on a local environment?
Is it possible to use Cloud Platform OData destinations on a local environment?
I have already found the possibility with the cloud connectivity proxy component, but this is not my preferred solution.

Thank you
