Hi, I have an application level question. We are using a NW JAVA Application server where a third party application is running as a service. We have 4 Java nodes in the application server. I understand that the JAVA dispatcher does the load balancing and sends the requests/threads to the nodes balancing the load.
Question - 1) what happens if the service is down? Will the node know that the service is down and reject all requests to be sent to the application/service? Or will I loose the requests (probably data) which are already at the node level? Please let me know your thoughts, if possible guide me with links. Thanks.
