Workflow for Sales Order Status Profile Help SOOOOON URGENT

Hi,

I have a requirement for configuring the workflow so that whenever a sales order is made then a message is to be fired to the CFO to release that order for the further processings?

Please Help soon i have to do it by today as it is the delivery date.
