Hi,

The domain controller contains all configurtion data for the Transport management system.

The backup domain controller is set as a safeguard against the unavailability of the

domain controller. The backup domain controller has to be an existing installed system.

It cannot be virtual system or external system.

How to:

Log on to the domain controller------>go to STMS

Goto Overview------>Systems

Double click on ant existing systems

Goto edit mode

In the Backup tab select the system which you want to configure as the

backup doamin controller.

Hope this helps.

Pl dont forget to award suitable points.

Hi,

Logon to the Transport domain Controller in 000 client and Use STMS - Overview - Systems - select the R/3 System to be defined as backup domain controller and Select SAP System  Display.and Click Save

Click Yes to Distribute the TMS configuration changes.

Logon on to the Backup Controller STMS -Overview - Systems - Extras - Activate backup Controller

Select Yes to Activate.

Note: Whenever the previous domain controller is available, it will be designated as Backup Domain controller automatically.

Bye
