Enable/Disbale any funcation based on user role : Syclo work Manager 6.4

Dear All,

I am working on Work Manager 6.4 with SMP 3.0 SP12.

At the work order level there is a transfer option available,
so that the order can be transfereed from one technician to other.

My question is , can I enable this transfer button based on a condition, If the technician is supervisor then enable and if he is a normal technician then disable this.

This can be done only If I get this information that the logged in user is a technician or has a supervisor role.

Do we get this information in Syclo application or it requires customization to get this available in the application.

Please share your views if anyone has done such customizations.

Yes you can enable transfer based on a rule such as supervisor versus technician. I suspect it will require changes to identify who is what role. You can certainly check the user profile information brought down to see if you have the necessary information already in place.

Thanks, Yes there is a complex table ctpersomresp which connects to /SMERP/HR_CTEMPLOYEE_LIST_GET bapi wrapper.

Although I was not able to check which field in the table specifies the role, I shall check this , Also if you have the information , please share.
