Getting Error while connecting to SFTP server

Hi All,

I am getting error while connecting to SFTP server through HCI.

Error:Cannot connect to sftp cause: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Session.connect: java.net.SocketException:

This error is because of Certificate ?

    Hello Aditya,

    Please add public key of the SFTP server to known_host file,it should work then.

    • Hi Sriprasad,

      That we have already deployed.But didn't added certificate to the tenant(system.jks) .Do we need to add certificate also?

    Hello Aditya,

    As per my understanding you need to raise a request to SAP OPS team to white list your client SFTP server IP and work with Client network team to white list SAP HCI tenant IP range ( refer SAP HCI HELP ).

    If its username/password based authentication its not required to import anything to system.jks entry to known_hosts file will suffice.
