"Error! Due to an unexpected error the action will be canceled."
We get this error message on some pcd objects: iviews, pages, roles etc, and it prevent us from moving, copying or changing the ID of an object in the pcd.
We could not identify the cause of it though... Has anyone seen this before? Do you know why it happens? Do you know of a solution, other than delete and recreate objects?
Thanks!
Enas
Enas,
Have you tried exporting the content as part of a Portal package, deleting, then reimporting?
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I didn't try doing that. You are right, that could be a more efficient way of recreating the objects if there is a bulk of them that need replacement.
But do you know the reason that these objects get corrupted in the first place? Because even after replacing some, they were corrupted again... So I'm thinking there might be a particular action that increases the possibility of corrupting the object. One that should be avoided perhaps?
Thanks!
Enas
