agentry fetch property

I added a fetch in agentry to fill a newly defined collection of objects and added a fetch property to capture the user input.

When I want to access the fetch property in my java coding using user.getString("fetch.Customer"), the value is empty however I put an intial value rule in the 'fetch property settings'..

It does work if I use a generated fetch screen where the user can input the value in an input field, but I do not want this extra screen as I already know the value for the input value and I simply want to fill it in using the initial value rule or from another object property.

I don't believe the properties will be initialized unless you are using the screen. If you need to reference a property I would probably just use a property on the main object and set it before calling the transmit.

    • Thanks for the answer, that would be great, but how can i access the value of this property in my Java class?

What syntax can i use instead of user.getString("fetch.Customer")?
